Placements
The concluding stage of the APF includes a dedicated placements programme, where participating employers meet and interview graduating fellows for roles in the ecosystem.
How it Works:
-
Fellows who successfully complete all academic and performance requirements are eligible to participate
-
Placements Week consists of scheduled interviews, presentations, and networking sessions with participating organisations
-
Roles offered are typically entry-level or early-career policy positions. Salaries are set by employers and are non-negotiable
Our Approach:
-
Placement opportunities are offered based on demonstrated competence during the fellowship
-
We prioritise matching fellows to roles where their skills, interests, and professional values align with the organisation’s work
-
While the number of roles may vary, we work closely with employers to ensure strong hiring outcomes for the cohort
For Employers and Other Partners:
The APF is designed to develop professionals who are ready to contribute to policy research, advocacy, and implementation from day one
Why Partner with Us:
-
Access to a pre-screened pool of candidates trained in contemporary policy themes, applied research methods, and sector-relevant skills
-
Opportunity to assess candidates through their fellowship work, presentations, and interviews
-
Engagement with a network of policy practitioners, faculty, and partner organisations
